Marty Foltyn
Marty is the president of BitSprings Systems and is the author a variety of articles in end user and computer trade journals. She has been a frequent speaker at industry events, including the SAN Conference, the FCTC conference, PC Expo, Networld+Interop, and the International Help Desk Conference. She serves on the SAN Conference advisory board and the Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA) marketing committee, and is a member of SNIA and of Women in Technology International (WITI).
Before coming to BitSprings, Marty served as vice president and key executive for an Internet startup formed to educate consumers and the channel on computer network storage. Previously, she spent 5 years in corporate marketing for storage manufacturers Overland Data and Conner Peripherals, where she initiated and directed worldwide strategic marketing and product management activities, holding corporate P&L and gross margin responsibilities.
Marty began her marketing career at Computer Associates, where she managed marketing activities of network and office management software product lines sold direct and to the distributor/reseller channel.
