Seagate Ships 2TB SAS Enterprise Drive

This morning, Seagate Technology announced it was now shipping its 3.5-inch Constellation ES drive. The new drive was designed specifically for multi-drive nearline storage environments. According to the specifications in the company's news release on MarketWatch, it offers highly efficient storage with capacities of 500GB, 1TB and 2TB and also boasts 6Gb/s SAS or SATA 3Gb/s performance.
