STORServer Offers Free Trial of Tivoli Storage Management Backup Solution

STORServer's Archive Backup Client (ABC) software for OpenVMS enables users to backup, archive, restore and manage OpenVMS files stored on IBM TSM servers. The company is offering a free trial license of its ABC software marking its 33rd anniversary of OpenVMS with Archive Backup Client.

"STORServer's Archive Backup Client provides comprehensive data protection for OpenVMS on Itanium, Alpha and VAX systems. System administrators can easily create backup schedules and restore individual files, directories and disks. ABC commands are designed to drop into an existing OpenVMS backup environment with minimal modification.

"IBM Tivoli Storage Manager policy management allows users to define how many older copies of files to keep and how long to keep them. These granular policies can be applied to individual files, directories, volumes and entire servers."
