Officescape UC Meets Compliance Regulations

Officescape has announced its unified communications server, UC 2.0, will be released for public use on June 28. In the company's product news announcement it claims that the new version includes a number of new features which will help Officescape's clients continue to enjoy the flexibility of VoIP while meeting security compliance requirements.

"By using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) in conjunction with the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), Secure Session Initiation Protocol (SIPS) and the Transport Layer Security (TLS), Officescape’s Secure VoIP ensures that all voice communication will remain private and confidential. This is especially relevant pertaining to the home-based employee who, with Secure VoIP, is no longer a security risk to their company."
