Iron Mountain Delivers NetApp-Enabled Content Archiving

Iron Mountain Incorporated says that the company has recently extended a partnership with InterVision. This partnership enables the company to offer users of NetApp and NearPoint a solution for archiving, accessing and protecting email.
As mentioned in the company's news release, The Iron Mountain NearPoint archive leverages NetApp’s Snapshot technology as the source for archived data and the compliant archival of data capture for all Microsoft Exchange database transactions and events. In addition, the integration simplifies application data management by leveraging NetApp’s SnapManager for Microsoft Exchange, which automates the complex, manual, and time-consuming processes associated with the backup, recovery, and verification of Exchange Server databases while eliminating the need to implement Microsoft Exchange Journaling.
