Who is Next on Dell's List?

Traders are speculating on where Dell will turn its storage market attention now that the bid for 3Par has been lost. Wedbush said in a recent analyst note, according to Street Insider, that instead of 3Par, Dell should be looking at Brocade Communications or Compellent Technologies.

"The firm noted, Compellent addresses the mid-tier storage market, which is growing at a faster rate compared to high-end storage. Brocade would be a good option since storage networking and data networking are critical components of an end-to-end datacenter solution, which Dell currently does not have.

"Both are 7 percent higher today."
