Choosing SSD Over Traditional Hard Drives

Investor Spot offers five reasons to use a solid state drive (SSD) over a traditional hard drive. Even though they may not have the storage capacity as standard hard drives, they are quickly heading that way and have lots to offer besides.

The lack of any mechanical components and increased durability means that, particularly in laptop computers, SSDs potentially have a much longer service life than typical HDDs- with much more reliable data storage.
