FalconStor And StorageTek Qualify Interoperability

FalconStor and StorageTek have announced the joint qualification of each other's product lines.

Previously, FalconStor had jointly tested and qualified StorageTek's 9176 Disk Subsystem with IPStor, FalconStor's storage networking software, and has now completed qualification testing for select StorageTek disk subsystems. This includes StorageTek's D178 2Gb Fibre Channel disk storage system, an enterprise-level open systems disk solution, and the entry-level D173, which are manufactured by LSI Logic Storage Systems and sold by StorageTek The combination of these disk systems with IPStor provides customers with a powerful virtualized disk solution.
