AC&NC Introduce JetStor III U160 RAID Array

Advanced Computer & Network Corporation today announced a new line of products: JetStor III U160(TM) RAID and JetStor III FC/U160 RAID.

According to the company, JetStor III U160 RAID array delivers reliable
data protection combined with the high-performance of Ultra160
SCSI to support mission critical business applications. It features a brand-new 64-bit RISC processor, completely cableless backplane-based design, and storage capacities exceeding 1.5TB in a small 3U high enclosure.

JetStor III FC/U160 RAID array adds a brand-new 64-bit RISC processor with 1GB/sec or 2GB/sec Fiber Channel support in the same enclosure. The company says this product is ideal for SAN environments.

Gene Leyzarovich, President of Advanced Computer & Network Corporation, said, “now in its third generation, we offer complete line of products, each one covering a different spectrum of the growing data storage market. JetStor III U160 RAID addresses a need for high performance server attached storage. Our JetStor III FC/U160 is a perfect solution for customers who are ready to step up to a SAN.”
