nStor Technologies Builds Australian Market Presence

nStor Technologies today announced a new distributor agreement with Distributed Network Services Pty. Ltd. (DNS), one of Australia's leading enterprise storage and backup integration companies. DNS will offer the NexStor family of Fibre Channel and SCSI storage systems to vertical industries in the Australian market, including telecommunications, pre-press, financial, education, and video editing.

"In our comparison testing, we found that the NexStor storage solutions offered the same features and capabilities of an EMC system for a significantly lower cost," said Jon Maratos, Managing Director, DNS. "NexStor also outperformed Compaq's systems in several key areas. Loaded with features that contribute to ease of implementation, full redundancy, high density, and high scalability, the NexStor storage solutions truly represent a value-laden offering to the markets we serve. In addition, the levels of service and support from nStor have been exceptional. We have been working with nStor for over 12 months already, and it is great to finally sign a formal agreement with them."

"This agreement with DNS is one of several recent advances nStor has made in the Asia Pacific region," said Fahim Ahmed, Director of Asian Operations, nStor Technologies. "We have been rapidly expanding our indirect sales channels in this area. The addition of DNS as a distributor should successfully proliferate the presence of NexStor solutions in the key Australian market."
