Department of Defense Certifies TrueArc and FileNET Paired Solution
TrueArc(TM) and FileNET Corp today announced today that their integrated solution - FileNET's Panagon(TM) Content Services 5.1.1 and TrueArc(TM)'s Foremost Enterprise 2.0 - has been tested and certified compliant with the DoD 5015.2-STD, the U.S. Department of Defense standard for electronic recordkeeping systems (ERS).
Tricilities Technologies, LLC, an information management solutions company, and RMC Consultants, Inc., an integrator in the government market, coordinated the certification of both products to ensure compliance for their customers using these products.
According to the companies, organizations deploying an integrated ForeMost/Panagon solution can manage the security, versioning and lifecycle of important content in compliance with the DoD 5015.2 standard. The certification widens the options for organizations needing the tracking and tight control on access and manipulation of content that TrueArc(TM) delivers.
"The ForeMost/Panagon integrated solution allows users to seamlessly manage all their content with robust records management, archiving and disposal capabilities and to more effectively capture the knowledge within their organizations," said Russ Stalters, president of TrueArc(TM).
"RMC/Tricilities excel in developing solutions to help government agencies deliver compliant and complex records management systems to their various audiences, and we are pleased that they've chosen ForeMost as a key component in many of their successful projects."
"The integration with TrueArc(TM)'s ForeMost Enterprise product once again demonstrates how Panagon's enterprise content management platform delivers solutions that provide real benefits in terms of instant access to information," said Michael W. Harris, senior vice president, Products and Strategy, at FileNET.
DoD 5015.2-STD is the accepted design criteria for electronic records management software applications, defining the mandatory operational, legislative and regulatory requirements that must be met by records management application products that are acquired by the Department of Defense.
