MTI Technology Corp. , a provider of data storage and business solutions, will exhibit its newly introduced StingRay NAS (network attached storage) solution at the prestigious Enterprise Storage Strategies Conference & Expo, tomorrow and Thursday (November 28-29) in Boston.

A corporate co-sponsor of the event, being held at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, MTI will show the StingRay NAS solution in Booth #20. StingRay joins a product family that includes MTI’s successful Vivant(TM) S-series SAN (storage area network) solutions, featuring the D-100 direct-attached storage unit; top-of-the-line V-series enterprise storage solutions, including the new V-Cache(TM) application accelerator; and Infinity 1600-series automated tape libraries.

Introduced earlier this month at Comdex, StingRay is the latest generation of fault-tolerant enterprise-class NAS functionality offered by MTI. StingRay brings improved NAS performance and manageability to MTI’s Vivant storage solutions, which combine SAN and NAS technologies into one consolidated storage networking solution.

The company is also taking part in the Conference program. Richard J. Bocchinfuso, a director of pre-sales engineering at MTI and a storage industry veteran, will be one of three panelists in the Storage Security session (10-10:50 AM, Wednesday, Nov. 28), moderated by Roger Cummings of VERITAS. The panel will discuss important storage management and security issues related to the Web.

Enterprise Storage Strategies Conference & Expo is run by a division of INT Media Group Inc. , the parent company of this Web site.
