CreekPath has announced the immediate availability of it’s next generation Enterprise Storage Management solution that will ‘help customers realize the benefits of storage networks.

AIM Suite 2.0, the company’s flagship product, is the industry’s first integrated storage management platform, that enables enterprises to align storage objectives with business objectives by providing application to device-level control, accountability, measurability, controllability and security through policy-driven workflows.

Simplifying networked storage management through a single “pane of glass” interface, the initial components of the CreekPath AIM Suite include:

  • The CreekPath AIM Platform, which combines the key elements of traditional Storage Node Management (SNM), Storage Resource Management(SRM), visualization and virtualization. This solution provides auto-discovery, logical and physical topology mapping and monitoring of the health and performance of the network with application centric policy management.
  • CreekPath Process Automation Modules — (PAMs), which automate process-driven, policy-based storage management and provisioning. By integrating best-practice, workflow process management into the PAMs, CreekPath enables administrators to have control over the level of automation that can be invoked by policies. CreekPath provides PAMs for all leading storage array vendors such as Hitachi Data Systems, EMC and Sun.

“As a participant in the CreekPath beta program, we finally see a solution that addresses the entire life-cycle of our data,” said a Director of Data Management at a leading-edge telecommunications company. “The AIM Suite, with its powerful workflow engine, can improve the clarity, integrity and productivity of our staff efforts and improved time to market. These factors can significantly reduce total-cost-of-ownership of our storage assets.”

“CreekPath has delivered the most advanced, active storage resource management solution in the market today,” said Randy Kerns, partner at the Evaluator Group. “The AIM Suite’s ability to safely automate labor-intensive IT processes, delivers immediate customer savings while reducing a company’s capital expenditures and operating expenditures.”

“CreekPath’s software represents one of the most complete offerings we’ve seen in the enterprise class,” said Steve Duplessie, Founder and Senior Analyst at Enterprise Storage Group.
