I/O virtualization specialist Xsigo Systems is planning something big for the upcoming VMworld conference. The company has hinted that VMworld will serve as the stage for the debut of a new virtualization technology that, according to this report from ServerWatch, will change everything.

Analyst Charles King said Xsigo may be planning to emphasize an open-systems theme.
