Quantum subsidiary Snap Appliances(TM) this week announced the kickoff of a "Back to School Special" for the education market. Snap Appliances said it will offer e-coupons valid for 10 percent off the Snap Server(R) product line to educational institutions.

"While storage requirements for educational institutions are at an all time high, school IT budgets continue to shrink," said Jim Simon, director of channel marketing of Snap Appliances. "Snap Appliances' `Back to School Special' is being launched to help school IT managers find cost-effective solutions to meet their growing storage demands."

The "Back to School Special" will be available from September 24, 2001 through October 31, 2001. Educational institutions, including K-12, colleges, and universities, will be eligible for an e-coupon for 10 percent savings across the entire Snap Server product line. The e-coupon can be used an unlimited number of times and is redeemable via the online Snap Store.
