VERITAS Software Announces 2001 EMEA Users' Conference

VERITAS Software Corp. announced VERITAS VISION2001-EMEA, the company's third annual EMEA end-users' conference at the Hilton London Metropole, May 15-17, 2001.

Guest speakers include globalization expert Jeffrey Sachs, Red Herring magazine Editor-in-Chief Anthony Perkins and Polish President Lech Walesa.

"The success of this conference is built on giving customers the opportunity to meet the leaders and innovators in the storage industry. Attendees can expect to build upon their knowledge of data availability solutions through interaction with fellow users, participation in panel discussions and executive presentations, further empowering them to implement interoperable solutions for maximum return on investment," said Lindsey Armstrong, vice president of EMEA for VERITAS Software. The conference will include an exhibition of major computer, software and storage vendors, presentations from select VERITAS Software partners, and several industry-focused tracks highlighting high availability and data protection. Attendees can also look forward to a keynote address from both VERITAS Software President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Bloom and Mark Hudson, vice president of Worldwide Server Marketing for Hewlett-Packard Co.
