StorageTek(R) and Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. today announced the expansion of their global relationship with the addition of the Brocade SilkWorm(R) 6400 64-port integrated fabric to StorageTek StorageNet(R) Storage Area Network (SAN) offerings.
The SilkWorm 6400, which was made generally available by Brocade in March 2001, is a pre-configured, integrated SAN fabric, designed to simplify the deployment and management of SANs while offering users the flexibility to deploy large enterprise SANs in a modular "pay-as-you-grow" fashion.
