BlueArc Announces VERITAS NetBackup Qualification

BlueArc Corporation this week announced that its BlueArc Si7500 Storage System has been qualified with VERITAS NetBackup(TM) NDMP (Network Data Management Protocol) part of VERITAS NetBackup(TM) DataCenter.

"BlueArc's SiliconServer combined with VERITAS NetBackup NDMP addresses the most demanding data protection needs in the largest enterprise environments," said Neal Ater, senior vice president of data protection products, VERITAS Software. "Customers will be able to achieve optimal levels of performance and reliability in protecting and accessing their business-critical data."
