Benchmark Ships 100,000th Tape Drive

Benchmark Storage Innovations, Inc. today announced that it has shipped its 100,000th tape drive. Dell was the recipient of the milestone drive.

“As the proud recipient of the 100,000th tape drive, we congratulate Benchmark on achieving this significant milestone,” said Russ Holt, vice president of Dell’s Enterprise Systems Group. “Benchmark’s DLT1 tape drive offers the flexibility and performance to accommodate a wide range of Dell PowerVault storage customers, from small businesses with simple networks to large customers that need to protect significant amounts of data.”
