Our rich experience and talent pool has also helped us in understanding the requirements that Storage Area Networks pose on the overall network," stated Vivek Shivananda, Vice President of Operations at eB Networks. "It is with these design points in mind that we have developed methodologies and competencies around critical infrastructure projects such as SANs. By joining the INRANGE family, we see the ability to further increase our value and reach to our clients."
"Through our IN-VSN product strategy, INRANGE is the only storage networking vendor delivering core-to-edge-to-anywhere solutions for the enterprise. We provide our customers with direct consulting expertise and resources to speed ROI from their technology investments right from the start," stated INRANGE CEO Greg Grodhaus. "It has become trite in our industry to talk about delivering solutions, rather than just boxes. For us, however, the claim is fact. INRANGE has been focused on large-scale, mission critical networking since 1968. We know our customers and their businesses intimately. eB Networks is a key addition to our IGC business. We're ready more than ever to help our customers design network infrastructures that best enable their businesses."
The INRANGE Global Consulting (IGC) strategy, announced in 2000, was to grow by acquisition to keep pace with the demand for high-end infrastructure consulting. With this acquisition, the INRANGE said the IGC business is ahead of targeted growth plans and now includes almost 300 consulting professionals worldwide.
