Dantis(SM), Inc. this week announces that EMC Corporation has recognized Dantis as EMC Proven(TM) E-Infostructure(TM) certified. This designation allows Dantis to provide EMC’s E-Infostructure to its managed services clients.

EMC E-Infostructure includes disaster protection, global data migration, global data vaulting, global content and site replication, enterprise backup and restoration, global data warehousing, and enterprise connectivity.

The EMC Proven E-Infostructure program, according to the companies, identifies Internet-based businesses that have invested in the best practices for enterprise storage and information infrastructure, and signifies that a company has implemented an optimal IT infrastructure able to support the operational needs of an Internet-based business or service.

Dantis uses EMC products for the entire back-end infrastructure that supports its clients’ Web sites. The EMC equipment is part of Dantis’ standard offering, not an add-on service like many managed services providers offer.
