Quantum Corporation today announced the appointment of Michael Lambert as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), with responsibility for overseeing all financial functions at the company.

“Michael has a strong track record of success in the development and implementation of financial and business strategies. This experience, along with his background in storage and networking, will be extremely valuable as Quantum extends its leadership in data protection and broadens its storage solutions offerings,” said Brown. “We are excited about the tremendous long-term opportunities in storage, and Michael will play a key role in shaping and guiding Quantum’s strategy to take advantage of these opportunities and enhance shareholder value.”

Lambert joins Quantum from NerveWire, a pre-public management consulting and systems integration firm, where he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer.
