Adaptec, Inc. announced the appointment of John J. Lazlo, Jr., to a newly-formed Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations position.

“John brings a wealth of executive-level investment experience and strategic thinking to Adaptec that will enable us to more aggressively pursue new market areas for the company,” stated Adaptec president and CEO, Bob Stephens. “We are thrilled to have him on our team.”

The company said Mr. Lazlo, a former senior vice president and technology analyst at Paine Webber, brings to Adaptec more than 25 years of investment experience, including research, analysis, investment banking and venture capital.
