BakBone Software , a provider of storage management software, announced the appointment of John Fitzgerald to the position of Chief Financial Officer.
“I am delighted to appoint John Fitzgerald as Chief Financial Officer. Over the past year he has been a key player in the growth of BakBone. I am confident that John will play a major role as we continue to significantly grow this company,” said Keith Rickard, President and CEO, BakBone Software. “We will be working closely together to achieve BakBone’s company goals; to increase revenues, hold down expenses, and implement our capital markets strategy.”
Fitzgerald held the Corporate Controller position at BakBone for most of the past year where the company said he played key roles in the reporting of financial results, private and public financings and led the corporate finance team in many other key initiatives.
