Netreon, Inc., a developer of storage management software, has hired Edward Cooper, a former marketing executive at Novell and Legato, as Vice President of Marketing.
“I am delighted that Ed is bringing his experience in the storage industry and marketing acumen to Netreon’s executive team,” said Bob Davis, president of Netreon. “Ed has the right combination of strategic perspective, industry track record and marketing skills to help us achieve our full potential.”
With over 30 years of experience, nine of those in storage management, Netreon said Cooper will drive the company’s marketing and product strategy. Most recently Cooper was vice president of marketing for Equilibrium, Inc. a graphics automation company. Prior to Equilibrium, Cooper served as vice president of marketing at Legato Systems.
