NIIT and Hitachi Data Systems Partner to Deliver Storage Solutions Training

NIIT, a global IT solutions and training company, announced today that it has partnered with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) to help HDS educate its staff, customers, resellers and channel partners on its storage solutions and products.

NIIT will develop both product overview and in-depth skill-based courses to help HDS Global Education meet its internal and external education requirements. The product overview courses are designed to introduce products or provide training on updates to existing products. Advanced courses will provide the skills necessary for working with the hardware and software aspects of HDS storage solutions or products. Under terms of the agreement, NIIT will also provide instructor-led training delivery.

With NIIT’s second project for HDS nearing a successful conclusion, both companies decided to come to a longer term working arrangement. The short timeframe involved in this project, a course on NAS Solutions, “Using NSS Products”, required NIIT to develop the course in just three weeks, enabling HDS to announce the availability of courseware at the same time the company made the product announcement.
