Network Attached Storage (NAS) vendor Procom Technology Inc. this week announced that Kevin T. Michaels has been appointed to the company’s board of directors.

“We are pleased Kevin has joined Procom Technology as a member of the board of directors,” said Alex Razmjoo, the company’s chairman and CEO. “His exceptional contributions in the high tech arena will prove invaluable in helping guide Procom’s aggressive strides as a leading storage systems company. Kevin’s financial acumen will play an important role in developing and focusing our strategies.”

Michaels is senior vice president, finance, chief financial officer and secretary for Powerwave Technologies, a supplier of high-performance power amplifiers for use in wireless communications networks. Michaels also worked for AST research for eight years where he served as vice president, treasurer.
