VERITAS Software today launched a free seminar series entitled, “Get Serious about Storage.” Developed for business and IT professionals, the half-day seminar focuses on managing the growing complexities of storage environments, based on the VERITAS Adaptive Software Architecture. Offered in 17 cities throughout North America, topics include: building interoperable solutions for heterogeneous environments, ensuring efficiency, and design strategies for effective storage management. The target audience for the seminar series ranges from CIOs to system administrators who are tasked with ensuring that their IT environment is efficient, cost effective, and responsive in today’s competitive environment.

Keynote speakers include VERITAS Software executives along with senior managers from IBM Global services to discuss business solutions based on the VERITAS Adaptive Software Architecture. VERITAS technical experts will expand on this architecture and deliver presentations on effective storage management and high availability. Additionally, each seminar includes a Partner Pavilion with key technology partners such as: BEA Systems, Forsythe, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, IBM, MaXXan, Sun Microsystems, The Ergonomic Group, and XIOtech.
