Bottom Line:

Our product guides typically include some niche vendors in each sector, and CloudHPT is the niche offering for our DRaaS guide. CloudHPT is geared toward serving customers in the Middle East with x86 DR needs that wish to use the cloud for recovery. To be sure, it can also integrate with Azure and AWS clouds if desired, yet it is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and principally serves the Gulf region.

CloudHPT deploys workload discovery tools during the sales engagement, which are used to help enable onboarding and capture changes to the environment during the contract period. A monthly virtual test (noninvasive) and a full annual disaster recovery test are included without additional charge.

Though based on the Middle East, its platform is built using elements from partners Cisco, NetApp, VMware and Microsoft. Everything is hosted in an Equinix data centers in the region. The company offers a low latency, fully managed recovery solution. Its service is not inexpensive, yet for customers in the Middle East, CloudHPT is a highly viable choice.
