Bottom Line:

iland is one of the top vendors in the DRaaS sector. With an expanded geographic presence, improved support, and even stronger partnerships, it should be on just about everyone’s shortlist – particularly for those on x86 platforms who don’t need extensive hands-on cloud support.

Impressively, iland goes head to head with Microsoft. The deciding factor is probably whether your company is committed to Microsoft or the Azure cloud platform. If not, iland is a choice well worth considering.

As well as DRaaS, it offers infrastructure (IaaS) and backup as a service (BaaS). Significantly, it has been in the cloud DR business for over a decade.

Service Description:

iland Secure Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) can replicate workloads from virtual or physical environments to the cloud. The DR process can be tuned to business priorities and compliance needs. It has the following services:

  • iland Secure DRaaS with Zerto for on-premise virtual workloads
  • iland Secure DRaaS with Veeam for users of the on-premise Veeam Availability Suite
  • iland Secure DRaaS with VMware for support of virtual environment in the cloud with VMware vCloud Availability
  • iland Secure DRaaS with Double-Take for physical workloads and DR for other clouds
  • iland Secure Cloud-to-Cloud Recovery for DR between iland clouds
