TeraCloud Corporation, a storage resource management (SRM) vendor announced that its SpaceNet product, an enterprise SRM software platform for organizations with mainframe and open system servers, now integrates with VERITAS Software’s Volume Manager.
The company said this is the first step in its initiative to support storage virtualization. TeraCloud said SpaceNet’s virtualization support of VERITAS Volume Manager ensures accurate space-use management of both physical devices and logical volumes, as well as improved reliability of data reporting.
TeraCloud launched in SpaceNet December 2001.
