Maxtor Signs OEM Agreement with Compaq

Maxtor Corporation has entered into an OEM agreement with Compaq Computer Corporation.

As part of the agreement, Maxtor’s Network Systems Group is supplying network attached storage systems that are being integrated into Compaq’s StorageWorks product family.

Maxtor’s Network Systems Group (NSG), a division of Maxtor Corporation, provides network storage solutions including the MaxAttach family of storage servers. The company said NSG works directly with industry software and service providers to deliver complete solutions for industry-specific applications.
