Bocada Storage Reporting Enhances Prism

In a press release on the company’s website, Bocada Inc. announced that it has added enhanced reporting functionality to its Prism solution. This addition, claims the company, provides a clear view into the performance of duplication jobs while tracking the data as it moves through its entire lifecycle – from initial creation to offsite storage. End users of Symantec NetBackup duplication and copying functionality are now able to view a comprehensive list of job data at the server, policy, client and schedule levels all from a single view.

“’Never before has a NetBackup user been given such insight and detail into the interworking of their environment,’ said Ralph Wynn Product Marketing Manager – for Bocada. ‘The hassles of manually checking every individual backup job to ensure that it was successful and data has been duplicated to the correct location is now a thing of the past. Whether you are a financial institution required to keep multiple copies of data for compliance, or a SMB looking to get data offsite, the reporting that we’ve built into Prism simplifies SLP configurations and management and empowers users with the confidence that their mission-critical information is safely backed up and protected at any and every stage of its lifecycle.’”
