SEATTLE — The file data platform Qumulo is welcoming two C-suite executives to its team.

Qumulo hired Kiran Bhageshpur as chief technology officer and Eric Brodersen as chief customer officer, according to the company last month.

Qumulo’s strategic expansion of its leadership team is focused on driving the company’s growth in the unstructured data market through customers and partners as well as technical innovation.

The company has a “massive opportunity in front of us” to continue its pace in “innovation, market adoption, and customer success,” said Bill Richter, CEO, Qumulo.

Richter said Bhageshpur and Brodersen join a leadership team that is “focused on leading us into the next phase of growth.”

Kiran Bhageshpur

Most recently, Bhageshpur was the founder and CEO of Igneous, the maker of an unstructured data management solution.

Previously, Bhageshpur was an engineering leader at Isilon Systems and the VP of engineering at the Isilon storage division at EMC.

Bhageshpur said he’s “honored to play a role” in Qumulo’s next phase of technical innovation.

“I look forward to the opportunity to take this product to the next level and to deliver even more results for Qumulo customers who have incredible value in their data,” Bhageshpur said.

Eric Brodersen

Most recently, Brodersen served as president and COO of Impinj, leading the launch of its Internet of Things (IoT) platform, expanding company operations and revenue, and guiding its IPO.

Previously, he served as the SVP of marketing and business development for the Isilon storage division at EMC.

Brodersen said he’s “thrilled to join a culture dedicated to the customer experience.”

“Extending the ecosystem of customers and partners across global markets is an exciting opportunity,” Brodersen said.
