BlueArc Corporation’s Si7500 NAS Storage System has been certified to support all of StorageTek’s tape library backup solutions, including its top-end virtual tape library, the StorageTek PowderHorn Series.
“The StorageTek certification ensures that our customers have a broad range of scalable, quality data management solutions that provide the best protection of business-critical information,” said Chuck Joseph, a senior vice president at BlueArc.
According to BlueArc and StorageTek, the companies jointly tested and cross-certified StorageTek’s libraries ranging from 20 to 6,000 tapes to ensure interoperability for joint customers.
