Brocade Communications Systems SilkWorm 3800 Enterprise Fabric Switch has been selected by Datamation Magazine as the leading new product of 2001 in the Networking Hardware category.

According to the company, the 2 Gigabit per second (Gbit/sec) 16-port SilkWorm 3800 increases storage area network (SAN) scalability and reliability, enhances the security of the SAN fabric, and simplifies storage network management.
