IBM has certified Overland Data’s automated tape libraries for the latest release of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, centralized data protection solution.
Brenda Zawatski, vice president, Tivoli Storage, IBM Software Group, said “Overland offers a comprehensive set of solutions that are compatible with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.”
According to the companies, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager 5.1 will support Overland’s enterprise-class Neo Series libraries, mid-range PowerLoaders and industry-standard autoloaders. These products support a variety of leading technologies including: LTO; DLT8000; SuperDLT; and AIT.
