SAN JOSE, Calif. — The data storage company Pavilion Data Systems is welcoming three “seasoned” technology executives to its team.
Pavilion’s latest executive hires cover several corporate functions: Anil Virmani, SVP of software engineering; Chethan Bachamada, VP of operations; and Lynn Orlando, VP of marketing, according to the company last month.
The trio is charged with helping to manage and lead Pavilion’s growth.
Pavilion’s approach to high-performance data storage has gained acceptance at some of the “most demanding organizations” in sectors such as health care, security, and finance, said Dario Zamarian, CEO, Pavilion.
“As our reputation grows, the demands on our management team grow as well,” Zamarian said.
“Anil, Chethan, and Lynn are superbly skilled executives who will help us meet the needs of current and new customers, as we expand our market share and leadership in advanced data storage systems.”
Virmani brings a background in both startups and multinational corporations, having built software teams “from the ground up,” leading up to 150 developers.
He recently served as VP of engineering and product management for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s GreenLake Cloud Services. There, he led a large global team responsible for various aspects of HPE’s edge-to-cloud platform-as-a-service.
Prior to HPE, he served in executive roles at ADARA VMware, and Juniper Networks.
Bachamada brings over 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, mostly at Jabil, where he served as a business unit director.
After starting his career as an engineer at Lear Corporation, Bachamada developed into a director of business management, leading several cross-functional and multinational teams.
Lynn Orlando has over 20 years of experience in data storage and networking.
She is a longtime senior leader with broad experience in product and solutions marketing.
Most recently, Orlando was head of content marketing at WekaIO, a cloud data platform provider.
Previously, she served as head of marketing at Stellus Technologies and in progressively senior management roles at Cisco, Skyera, HGST, and Western Digital.
