Vicom Systems, a data storage management company, has become a member of storage connectivitiy vendor JNI Corporation’s SANpartners Program.

Through this program, Vicom and JNI said they plan to provide jointly qualified and mutually supported solutions based on extensive interoperability testing conducted by JNI. “The JNI SANpartners program is an excellent plan to better serve customers through open standards and interoperability testing and qualification,” said David Lamont, Vicom Vice President of Marketing. “Through this partnership, Vicom Storage Virtualization Engine (SVE) will continue to provide storage administrators with proven interoperability between heterogeneous host servers and storage devices.”

In order to be a partner, the companies said analysis and testing is performed by JNI through its System Integration Lab.
