INRANGE Technologies this week announced PerformanceVSN, a solution that allows users to access real-time and historical application level statistics fpr monitoring open systems and FICON storage networks.
The company said Partners such as BMC, VERITAS, and InterSAN can benefit from INRANGE’s design, which enables third-party products to leverage the additional infrastructure statistics. INRANGE said this collaborative environment allows storage networks, including connectivity devices and applications, to be managed from a single point.
INRANGE said this detailed view across the entire infrastructure includes INRANGE directors, switches, Storage Area Networks over Wide Area Networks (SAN over WAN) appliances, and other connectivity devices throughout the SAN.
