NuView Inc., has made available Version 1.1 of its StorageX storage management software. StorageX is software for virtualizing and managing large-scale storage direct attached storage and network attached storage (DAS and NAS) in Windows environments.
NuView said, in this new release, StorageX is now very tightly integrated with Active Directory and enables administrators to migrate users and files across heterogeneous storage systems (DAS, NAS) with a drag and drop action. Steve Duplessie, principal analyst with the Enterprise Storage Group, said “NuView’s StorageX makes it possible to easily implement, manage and administer a storage virtualization solution in Windows environments.”
NuView also announced technology and marketing agreement with Network Appliance, a provider of network attached data access and content delivery solutions. Through this agreement, NuView said it will integrate StorageX with Network Appliance filers.
